But I’m a Winter kinda gal. If it was a question between being too cold or too hot, I would have always chosen the cold option hands down. The whole argument that you can always layer on more as compared to not being able to keep taking off clothes, still holds strong for me and it’s the point I bring up if the argument begins in a conversation. Maybe it has to do with being self-conscious and feeling much more comfortable covering up instead of wearing less in hot weather. Either way, I hate the stickiness of suncreen and being surrounded in stuffy warm air. I hate ice cream melting down your hands and stinging sunburns. And don’t even get me started on the swarms of flies and mosquitos and bugs.

I Wanna Be A Pokemon Trainer

As I’m sure almost everyone out there knows or has heard, Pokémon Go was released two weeks ago. I’ll be honest, I didn’t jump on downloading it straight away even though I knew so many people who did; I hesitated because it seemed like such a gimmicky fad that wouldn’t really be much fun to actually play. That one decision cost me a day of catching pokemon. Yes, I regret it.

Visiting Sydney

The whole idea of Sydney and Home and Belonging (screw you Year 12) is still something I’m struggling with. I’m not sure if I’ll ever find peace with myself and knowing where I stand in the world, so right now everything is staying up in the air for a lot longer than I had hoped. I’m a girl born and raised in Sydney but now I live in Melbourne. It’s really not a very confusing concept but that sentence carries a ton of weight for me.

It’s been years now. And yet I often feel as if it was like I never left.
